In the iCult now…
Ebooks are charming, yes, but you can’t include a minifig in one, like in the Lego book I got for Xmas. (Until 3-D printers are ubiquitous.)

Man, I’m looking forward to the day when the big gold announcement box can finally come off my work site’s home page.
Gonna try to get some star trails tonight, maybe. Have to see.
While I’m glad the strike is over, I find it amusing that the news appeared to be broken by the students’ union.
I #amwriting until I have to go to the @evanstheatre to show “Beginners”. Listening to Warren Zevon’s “Desperadoes Under the Eaves”.
Today I tried Tim Hortons’ lasagna, which tasted suspiciously like Chef Boy-Ar-Dee. (sp?)
Done writing for now. 1000 words in a bit more than an hour; not shabby.
RT @BoobsRadley: If you’re happy and you know it, clap your hands. Everybody else, write a novel about your childhood.
I’d heard “flibbertigibbet” before, but “born under a threepenny halfpenny planet, never to be worth a groat” was new. http://t.co/LoPF6mox
It’s yet another afternoon of $wpdb wizardry. #wordpress

Hmmm.
aquabooks:
Just had someone walk in and say, “These books are $1? Will you be giving them away soon?” Then the phone rang, and “Do you have anyone there who can write a book for me? I have a great story, but it’ll take me too long.”

I should know better than to let the rantings of those on That Orange Site get under my skin.

There was frost on my bike seat last night after judo. (Well, after the après-judo coffee. So, like, 11pm. But still. Frost.)
Nachos and salsa is a different experience when the salsa has started to ferment. “Fizzy” is not a word I normally associate with tomatoes.
That was a long weekend.
http://t.co/NC1zkmm8 — Wonder how long till the strike breakers come here.
I have no official comment on the faculty strike, but I will say, on a personal level, it’s not making me feel very good.
Hope @dramaprof isn’t blocking me b/c he thinks I’m against him and his cause…

OH in the coffee shop: “So today I got to see a Foley taken out.” (I cringe b/c I know what that probably is.) “A what?” “Foley catheter”.
RT @rstevens: I love when a website glitch resolves itself by my taking a break for lunch.
I went for a long ride today. (Well, long for me, anyways.) http://t.co/Qlp9oteW
